![]() THE PROBLEM Playing chess on a PC monitor is not easy, you have two choices: MY SOLUTION I realized that what I wanted was a 3D-like chessboard with a very faint perspective, to see the chessboard almost as a diagram, and high quality pieces, viewed from the same point of view of chess tournaments. Here is the result, click on it for a full screen view. DEMO VERSION To download a demo version click: delfigui.zip (2.8 Mb). The position trainer is limited to the first eight positions of any PGN/EPD file. The playing program is limited to 1000 ELO so it's quite weak for club players, by the way it's very useful if you are teaching chess to absolute beginners and children. The full version can be ordered here, the cost is 20 euro. |
